Blame it on...

People have been making serious accusations off late. I guess being a nice straightforward simple person like myself has its drawbacks. I just don’t get it. Why implicate me with fictitious crap? I wish people would give me a chance to explain things before going public with their allegations. The imperative essence lacking here would be “good communication”. I wish people could just sit and talk things out before doing something drastic.

Flashback to kindergarten: boy forgets his lunch in the bus. Boy very hungry. “Borrows” someone else’s lunch. That someone else happens to be thrice his size. Boy gets pasted. Boy wonders why people resort to such drastic measures. If only people could sit and talk it out, this world would be a better place. So boy decides to talk it out…he talks to his class teacher. Hmmm…boy doesn’t recollect seeing his bullying friend in class since that ‘talk’.

Present day scenario: Boy takes a crash course in “surviving life” from the devil himself. Learns a strategic move…the “10 minute funda”. Boy tries implementing it in real life. Boy finds amazing results. Out of sheer respect for his mentor, boy feels the need to propagate the “10 minute funda”. Everyone is in awe of the “all new enlightened boy”. Being the modest person that he is, boy doesn’t steal the limelight. He declines all offers coming his way and refuses being crowned “entrepreneur of the year”. He redirects all credit towards the rightful creator. Such exploits of selfless temperament call for instant gratification… which explains why I am where I am today.

* boy acknowledges everyone and takes a bow*

Boy can’t comprehend what went wrong? I mean if the devil had such a huge problem with the media hype that followed the “10 minute” revelation, why didn't he just talk about it with the boy…like I said earlier, the imperative essence lacking here was good communication. I’m pretty confident that given the right incentive, the boy would be more than happy to make a pact with the devil, to convince some unsuspecting soul into volunteering to play the martyr.

Hey Devil, the offer is still yours for the taking.

Peace out!!!

As Atish would put it…Beam me up Scotty……Very funny Scotty…now beam up my clothes!!!
